You do not owe anyone any justifications for your actions. If you snapped at someone who did not deserve it, simply make a heartfelt apology, once, and move on. You don’t have to apologize over and over again. If you were sincere and meant it the first time, that should suffice.

Inner peace comes not by trying to manipulate people, circumstances, or events, but by realizing the power that you have within you - the power to choose your thoughts, words, and actions.
People will judge you, gossip about you, and misunderstand you. This is common if you live on this earth; it always has been and probably always will be. Every sage who has ever lived has had to deal with the same issues.
Always remember that your present situation is not your final destination. The best is yet to come! The one thing that you can always count on is change. Everything is changing all the time. You never truly know if something will end up being good or bad until some time in the future.
