Unsolicited, free advice is usually worth exactly what you pay for it. It is nothing more than that person’s opinion on the subject. Everyone has an opinion, but not everyone’s opinion matters. Unless someone knows you and understands your life, his or her opinion is probably not very valuable for you and will not apply to your journey.
